Emptiness, Excitement, Fear - Confusion - 8:41 PM
2 comment(s)
To many people, the end of HSC is associated with the feeling of carefree.
It is also a call for celebrations, but to many others it also means coming to terms with a sense of emptiness.
It is daunting to know that I'm finally exposed to the "real world". What's going to happen? Will I be able to pursue my University study - and more importantly in the course I want? Will I learn to be independent - not needing to consult my parents for my life-changing decisions?
Am I going to change? Will I make friends who are just as fantastic as the friends I have now?

It's an exciting time of our lives, venturing into the unknown, but at the same time it's also extremely scary.

I'm confident that I know what I want to do with my life. I'm going to chase after everything that I've always wanted and not even my parents are going to stop me now. This is my chance to live life, free from many of those childhood expectations, which seem somewhat insignificant now.

The future seems promising. Just you watch, you'll be hearing a lot more about Leslie in the next few stages of our lives.
